Commissioner Richard Hughes, Portsmouth Dockyard. Receipt of letters and warrants to pay the Yard workmen half a year's wages, to receive canvas from Deptford and to reduce Mr Mouncher's bill for not making the sails for the Penzance in a workmanlike manner. Is sending a letter from John Smith proposing to undertake the felling, squaring, land carriage and wharfage of New Forest timber and asks for the Board's opinion. The Hound sloop has been docked in the North dock, the Raven has sailed from, and the Culloden arrived at, Spithead.
