John Wilson Croker. Are returning John Mitchell's application for his wages. We have no means of ascertaining the correctness or otherwise of his statement of the promise made by the Captain of the Guachupin. He was discharged on 17th September 1803 at Tortola to assist the Marlborough packet. There is no proof that it was intended that this gave him discharge from the service, and if not discharged, his wages are forfeited. Ask for directions.
