Complains of the insulting conduct towards him by John Newport from the Isis and Humphrey Jones from the Madagascar, and the annoyance they caused to patients in his care, and asking for their removal from the ship. 5th August 1829 from Joseph Beckett,Master, Amity, Naples, to Lieutenant Lester. Gives details of the insubordination of a number of the ship's crew, which delayed the ship's departure and ask for application to be made to the Consul General for assistance.
