Copy letter from William Stuart, Plymouth to George Smith [Navy Board]. You ask that people belonging to the Government vessels are employed until the 12th April. Three vessels have already been despatched and a fourth is now loading with stores for the dockyards. Men employed will be fully occupied until 12th in returning the remainder of the stores, vessels and boats. The contractors have decided to retain the Mortar Vessel, nine Government stone vessels and the Chatham receiving vessel moored off the breakwater. Details of the establishment believed to be required.
