Description (What the record is about)
-
John Wilson Croker. In respect of the men superannuated from the dockyards, whose cases we recommended for revision in February, it is not considered they are entitled to any increase of pension. Ask for the cases of George Taylor, Foreman of Smiths 1st class, and Thomas West, Foreman 2nd class, to be submitted again, as they may have been overlooked, that those two are not allowed the pension to be returned again, fixed by Order of April 1910 for the Foremen of the Smiths. J Hunt was employed on a dangerous expedition up the Congo, not as a Seaman, but as a Smith, which we consider equivalent to time served in a dockyard, making a total of 21 years.
