Description

John Wilson Croker. We reported that the Master Shipwright at Madras had been dispatched to Trincomalee to assist in the creation of a dockyard there. Commissioner Puget has sent us drawings, forwarded by the Master Shipwright, of a careening house, wharf and jetty, proposed to be built in Nicholson's Cove. Are sending the drawings and estimates for the cost of the works. Ask for directions.
