John Wilson Croker. As war was declared by the United States of America against this country, Commissioner Inglefield, as requested by the Commander in Chief, had caused 3 pilots for the Bay of Fundy and Coast of America to be entered on the books of Halifax yard in addition to the 10 previously borne. The Commander in Chief has submitted a further application, as a result of which the Commissioner has authorized several additional pilots, who offered themselves, to be entered.
