Description

J.W. Croker. William Tudnee offers, for the Directors of the Portsea Island Waterworks, to supply Portsmouth yard with water and conduct it to the yard at their expense but the expense of the pipes should be borne by the Government. Proposes a 4" pipe is laid from the main to near the dockyard wall in Queen Street to connect with pipes already in the yard. Approval has been given by the Civil Engineeer.
