Extract from a letter from Plymouth officers to the Navy Board. The 10 professional men who have been employed in making out accounts only for the shipwrights working by job have difficulty in submitting them in time for the workmen to receive the residue of their wages at the end of each quarter. Give details of various work required, and estimate 24 able professional men will be needed to collect and make out the accounts to pay the workmen.
