Description

Admiralty to Sir A.J. Hammond, Comptroller of the Navy. The failure of the French government to pay for the subsistence of French prisoners of war in this country continues and Messrs. Marland and Company have made further advances on that account. In addition to the £30,000 already advanced by the Board you are to pay Messrs. Marland £20,000 to remit the money they may have already advanced and for which they are to account.
