Description

Evan Nepean. Captain Hardy of the Dictator has asked to be informed whether widows' men should be borne on the books of the ship. When the complement of the Dictator was reduced to 250 men, Captain Martin discharged five widows' men borne on her books instead of only two. Three should now be borne according to her present complement of one for every 100 men.
