Thomas Snell, Clerk of the Cheque a Portsmouth, has reported the office and desk of his 1st Clerk was broken into and public money and his personal property was taken, on the night of 19th August. His Clerk asks to be reimbursed. He is allowed 2d. in the pound for his trouble and risk in receiving and issuing public money.
