Humphrey Wade, Sergeant of Marines to the Board. He was Clerk in Captain Henvill's office from July 1780 to June 1783, during which time he was commanded to do many things to the prejudice of the government and the men and was reduced to withdrawing from Headquarters, incurring his Officer's displeasure. He dares not show his face at the Corps after laying information and asks to be allowed to pay 20 guineas to be dismissed from HM service. He has also provided a plan which could save some £800 per annum.
