- Folios 177-184. Series of standard draft letters from the Poor Law Commission titled 'Balance due from Late Overseers. These were sent to several late overseers of the Axminster Poor Law Union stating the outstanding sums against them determined by Robert Tucker, District Auditor, must be paid to the treasurer of the union. Those written to are the overseers of: Chardstock, Seaton and Beer, Lyme Regis, Colyton, Shute, Uplyme, Membury, Stockland. Paper Number: 13116/A/1847. Poor Law Union Number 76. Counties: Devon and Dorset.
