Letter from Charles Bond, Clerk to the Guardians of the Axminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, referring to their request for information whether those sums disallowed by the auditor have been paid to the treasurer. He confirms none of the money has been paid. He has written to the several relevant overseers reminding them of their non-payment. Annotated: write to the overseers. Usual letter. Paper Number: 13116/A/1847. Poor Law Union Number 76. Counties: Devon and Dorset.
