Folios 221-224. Sale of Parish Property Form 1. The Clifton Reynes parish officers and inhabitants request the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, guardians to apply to the Poor Law Commissioners to consent to the selling of parish property; two cottages and tenements with gardens and appurtenances. It states that the property was given to the parish by the late Alexander Small of Clifton Hall but the officers have no evidence of title. The cottages are in a very dilapidated state and in the occupation of paupers. The proceeds of the sale to be spent for the permanent advantage of the parish in the contribution to the union workhouse building fund.
