- Folio 419. Draft Letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union. Acknowledging their letter of the 14 January 1850 regarding the statement of salaries of the medical officers and schoolmaster of the Cardiff Poor Law Union for the quarter ending Lady Day 1849. He says that as these sums have already been paid from the Parliamentary Grant that it has been sent in error. Pointing out that the next return required ifs for the half year ending Lady Day 1850 which should be laid before the auditor when auditing the accounts of the union for that half year. Initialled: Paper Number: 2192/1850. Poor Law Union Number 613. Counties: Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire.
