- Folio 412. Draft Letter from the Poor Law Board to Charles C Williams, Guardian of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, acknowledging their letter of the 12 January 1850 forwarding the memorial of six of the guardians of Cardiff against the separation of the rural parishes from Cardiff and form them into a separate union. The Poor Law Board reply that having given the memorial for and against the separation their best consideration they have concluded that there is not sufficient grounds to have been shown to exist for making an alteration of the union as at present constituted. Paper Number: 2179/1850. Poor Law Union Number 613. Counties: Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire.
