Folios 374-375A. Letter from William Price to the Poor Law in respect of a letter dated 14 December 1849 and informing them he has no copy of the case of [Evan Lally], Solomon, or Morgan, that he had submitted for consideration, to Cardiff Poor Law Union. The particular case about which Price complained and complains again in this correspondence is that a person by the name of [Evan Lally] or Solomon or Morgan of Glyntaff within the Cardiff Poor Law Union, had been receiving 6s a week from the Cardiff Poor Law Union when it is a known fact that the person lives in a house of his own with his wife, Mary. Mentioned is his nephew Daniel Thomas, a widow Ann Thomas, John Lewis and others; said to be able to prove the fact. The house is leasehold on his brother's property.
