Folios 4 - 5: George Meeking, aged 23, Private Royal Marines, HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 22 June. Died 27 June.
Folio 5: John Paling, aged 26, Private Royal Marines; disease or hurt, fractured skull, from an accident in the saw pit when the men raising a log let go of the windlass, which struck him on the head. Put on sick list, 23 June. Died 23 June.
Folios 5 - 6: Mr Richard Nicolls, aged 24, Mate of the Paul Pry tender to HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, gunshot wound, subsequently dysentery and intermittent fever. Put on sick list, 26 June 1829. Discharged, 30 July, into the [HMB] Plumper to rejoin his own ship. The gunshot wound was received in an accident after boarding a vessel. The men put down their muskets on the hatchway while trimming sails and afterwards one of the men picked his up by the trigger causing it to go off. The flash communicated with a cartridge box and thence to eight of the muskets which all went off. The daily sick list records five men wounded in this accident, three of whom subsequently died (of fever, tetanus and dysentery).
Folios 6 - 7: Mr Joseph Allen, aged 20, [2nd] Master of the Paul Pry, tender to HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, gunshot wound to both legs. Put on sick list, 26 June. Discharged, 30 July, into the [HMB] Plumper to rejoin the Sybille. Both legs were removed 'but nearly half an hour elapsed after removing the left leg before he could make up his mind to part with both'.
Folio 7: John Rook, aged 22, Able Seaman of the Paul Pry, tender to HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, gunshot wound to both legs, subsequently fever. Put on sick list, 26 June. Died, 1 August. The ball entered the right leg about six inches below the knee and apparently passed between the fibula and tibia without damaging any major vessels. The wound to the left thigh was about two inches above the patella.
Folios 7 - 8: W Harrington, aged 27, Able Seaman of the Paul Pry, tender to HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, gunshot wound to the right thigh and subsequently tetanus. Put on sick list, 26 June. Died, 2 July.
Folios 8 - 9: Job Lewsy, aged 29, Able Seaman of the Paul Pry, tender to HMS Sybille; disease or hurt, gunshot wound and subsequently dysentery. Put on sick list, 26 June. Died, 24 August. The ball entered the right thigh over the outer hamstring, fractured the thigh bone and exited over the [rastus internus] muscle about six inches from the joint. It was decided not to amputate. With a description of his body examined after death.

Folios 14 - 15: Thomas Dusantay, aged 22, 2nd Lieutenant Royal Marines; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 17 July. Died, 23 July. After death the body became yellow but the surgeon was unable to obtain permission to examine the body.
Folio 15: Henry Clough, aged 35, Serjeant Royal Marines; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 18 July. Died, 29 July. Taken ill on HMB Plumper at sea on the way from England. Folio 15: W Clerk, aged 21, Private Royal Marines, Blacksmith; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 26 July. Died, 8 August.
