- Folio 110A. Letter from Joseph Mills, Auditor to the Rye Poor Law Union, to the E Chadwick [Edwin Chadwick], Poor Law Commission. He states that he is only a recent appointment and that the quarterly accounts will be sent in late; as the 'imperfect state' of the parish books means they have to be returned to the parishes and will have to be drawn up again before he can use them. Poor Law Union Number 484. Counties: Sussex and Kent.
