Commissioner Henry Martin, Portsmouth. Today, he attended the Pay office to sell fathom wood and found that a general combination had taken place among the people attending to purchase it, who were fewer in number than usual, therefore, after selling some lots, he closed the sale and will publish in the newspapers for the sale of it today fortnight in hopes of a greater price
