Description

Copy letter dated 29 August 1785 from Sir Richard Hughes, Admiral, Commander in Chief, Barbados and Leeward Islands, HMS Adamant, English harbour to the master shipwright and Foreman of the Antigua Yard and the carpenters of HM Ships Boreas, Latona, Unicorn, and Falcon. Orders them to take a careful survey of the masts and spars in store at Antigua and report their findings to him.
