Description

Philip Stephens. The agent of Captain Hugh Cloberry Christian has asked for him to be paid for the time he was Agent for Transports, by order of Vice Admiral Young. Opine that he was a Lieutenant when appointed. If he was not in Commission he should be allowed 15s. per day with a servant in addition to half pay for the time he acted. If he was in Commission, the amount of his wages, which exceeds half pay, should be deducted from that allowance.
