Description

Philip Stephens. Messrs. Tyler and Robinson have offered the Loudoun for the Service and she is manned by the owners with 200 men. She is in the Jamaica trade and is not a ship of war. On inspection she is not fit to be a cruiser but may answer as an armed ship.
