Description (What the record is about)
-
Philip Stephens. Since there is an increase in the imprest granted for procuring men and the Lieutenants in Town do not have to provide a balance remaining, when requesting further payments, they may be holding considerable sums. Suggest it may be beneficial for Regulating Captains to obtain a balance from the Lieutenants and to forward it at the time of requesting further payments.
