Description

Philip Stephens. Thomas Dawkins has asked for dispensation from the date he was warranted Purser of the Cleopatra, despite not having passed his accounts for the Mermaid. By the Standing Orders of the Navy, no warrant Officer is to be entered until he appears to the Clerk of the Cheque at the Port where he is borne. Ask if his request may be complied with.
