Subjects include the Gowers Committee on Health, Welfare and Safety in Non-industrial Employment (1949) and the Zuckerman Working Party on Precautionary Measures against Toxic Chemicals Used in Agriculture (1950-1955), the Agriculture (Poisonous Substances) Act, 1952, and subordinate legislation. Agricultural wages (including policy matters in respect of the Agricultural Wages Board and enforcement of the board's orders), agricultural apprenticeship scheme, and agricultural housing (including tied cottages).
