William Marsden. Have received a copy order issued by Commissioner Lane and forwarded by the Naval Officer at Antigua. It reports that after representations by the Officers at the yard, Mr. Lane authorized the appointment of a Clerk to the Master Attendant. Under wartime conditions this is a reasonable request and recommends the appointment to the Admiralty.
