Description

William Marsden. William Dean has asked to be appointed Foreman of the Caulkers at Deptford. The Officers of the yard asked for the appointment but have not made him responsible for the usual number of apprentices, until they receive directions on the Board's September proposals, that the Foremen and Caulkers should receive the same salaries as those proposed to Foremen and Quartermen of Shipwrights.
