Description

William Marsden. In July 1803 owners of hired cutters were to provide a boy for every 20 men, in addition to their contract. The owners now refuse to comply with the increase because of the difficulty of finding boys for this work. This is the only difficulty Mr. Iggulden now has with his contract. The owners are making a considerable loss as the Navy are withholding pay until contracts are signed. They are now threatening to withdraw their services. Ask for directions.
