William Marsden. Mr. Heather of Portsmouth has offered to sell to the Navy, the Chiffonette brig on the terms usually paid for a copper bottomed 16-gun vessel. The brig was captured by the Egyptienne and surveyed when offered before. She was considered unfit by ethe Portsmouth Officers, as she was slightly built and not fit to be purchased.
