Letter to George Rose [joint secretary to the Treasury] from Robert Rissowe of the Custom House, Woodbridge [Suffolk], reporting the landing of numerous French emigrants at places where there were no officers to examine baggage, and requesting instructions to the magistrates to appoint constables to intercept foreigners for examination.
