Evan Nepean. Sends a letter from Captain Wemyss of Unicorn and a petiton from the Purser, Mr Hughes, concerning the injuries he has suffered from rats. Recommends that, as smoking is the only effective way of dealing with them, the ship should be brought into port and cleared for that purpose.
