Description

Philip Stephens. You sent an extract of a letter from Captain Duncan of the Suffolk to Rear Admiral Roddam complaining that his Master and Surgeon had been moved into other ships without notice. We appointed a Master and Surgeon on a temporatry basis to enable fitting out, but as they were not so fit, we have now found two suitable replacements and the former infirm Master and Surgeon are appointed to more suitable ships.
