Description

Philip Stephens. The Board of Ordnance have appropriated 20 9-pounder guns and 4 3-pounders, which is the old establishment, for the Amphitrite and other 24-gun ships lately built. The ships are intended to carry 22 9-pounders on the upper deck and 2 3-pounders on the quarter deck and ask for the Board of Ordnance to be so advised.
