Description

Philip Stephens. By order of September, have agreed for the building of ships: Mr. Barnard, a 24-gun ship in 18 months at Ipswich, Jolly and Company, a 28-gun ship in 18 months at Liverpool and Mr. Betts, a 300 ton sloop in 16 months at Mistley Thorn near Manningtree, Essex.
