Description

Philip Stephens. Cutters are to be built of larger dimensions than the late cutters built in HM Yards and they are to be capable of carrying 10 4-pounder carriage guns and be carvel built. Are sending a draught with proper plans for building these cutters for consideration. Propose that one is built at Dover and the other at Folkestone in merchants' yards and ask for directions.
