Folio 180. Letter from William Bolton Girdlestone, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southampton Incorporation, to the Poor Law Board, regarding vaccination in which he regrets not having been able to send the enclosed form earlier. 'Vaccination Extension Act' form from William Bolton Girdlestone, Clerk to the Guardians of the Southampton Incorporation to the Poor Law Board, listing the names or districts of the public vaccinators: J R Ware [James Richardson Ware] Bernard Street; Henry Dusautoy, St Mary Stree; George Cheeseman, Oxford Street; Dr H Clark [Henry Clark], Marland Place; Joseph Stace, Above Bar Street; J A Stace [John Alfred Stace], Hannover Buildings; and the numbers and ages of people vaccinated for the year ended 29 September 1848. Also noted [not entered] are the number of births in the union during the year and any observations [not entered]. Paper Number: 4519/1849. Poor Law Union Number 407. Counties: Hampshire.
