Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to W E Goodacre junior, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter dated 27 July 1842 and the list of cases of able bodied men with families to whom the board of guardians of Mansfield Union granted out relief in rations in return for stone breaking. The Commissioners give their sanction. Paper Number: 9952/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 337. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
