Folio 48-49. Letter from George H Glyn, Henham Vicarage [Essex] to Poor Law Commission, replying to their questions regarding weekly cost of paupers per head in the workhouse, including shelter, fuel, and medicine for the year ending Lady Day 1834. Glynn notes that there is no workhouse, but 6 tenements maintained at the expense of the [parish] for the accommodation of the poor and occupied at a low rent. Poor Law Union Number 167. Counties: Hertfordshire and Essex.
