- Folios 32-34. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to C Mole [Chamberlain Mole] Vestry Clerk to the parish of Braughing, acknowledging their letter of 11 October 1834 which has been considered by the Board. They ask whether it would be convenient for Mole and the contractor [James Bush] to have a meeting with the Commissioners. The Commission have a duty to carry out the terms of the Poor Law Amendment Act, but are anxious to adopt such measures to help the Parish of Braughing with its present problems. Poor Law Union Number 167. Counties: Hertfordshire and Essex.
