- Folio 393. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to John Parsons, Clerk to the Guardians of the Basford Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 13 July and enclosing a form of queries [not included] to be completed with the details of his appointment as Clerk to the Basford Union. Also enclosed is a circular [not included] showing the mode in which he should conduct his correspondence with the Commissioners, which they ask him to observe in future. The Commission would respond to the outdoor relief cases in due course. Paper Number: 9353/B/1842 Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
