Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to William Ashton, Clerk pro tem to the Guardians of the Basford Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 29 June regarding the dispute with Mr Wood, Surveyor over the map and book of reference for Basford Union, and directing him to send to the Commission the contract made between the guardians and Mr Wood. Paper Number: 8807/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
