Letter from R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, sending a copy of a resolution asking whether the rules defining overseers' duties under general order dated April 1842 are now in force or have been rescinded by orders issued in July 1847. Annotated: the order is not rescinded and is still in force - answer accordingly. Paper Number: 21737/1848. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
