Letter from Edward Gulson, [Assistant Poor Law Commissioner], to the Poor Law Commission with the following recommendations: That the Poor Law Commission don't approve the Governor of Basford workhouse as Superintendent Registrar. That the Poor Law Commission write to the overseers stating that since the dissolution of the Incorporation, only the board of guardians can grant applications for clothing. Paper Number: 4649/C/1836. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
