Folio 166. Letter from J Jolliffe, [Medical Office to Axminster Poor Law Union] to the Poor Law Commission. Jolliffe lists witnesses his wishes to be summoned to enquiry, they are: Mr George Williamson, the late Relieving Officer; Mr Robert Bonfield, the Overseer; Mr James Honibon, the late Guardian; Mr George Clark and Mr George Clark's eldest son All live in the parish of Chardstock. Jolliffe enquires if he may bring a 'Professional man' with him. 6290B/1846. See also Paper Number: 4633/A/1846. dated 30 April 1846 Poor Law Union Number 76. Counties: Devon and Dorset.
