Folio 159. Draft letter from Poor Law Commission to Charles Bond, Clerk to the Guardians of the Axminster Poor Law Union. Letter is regarding the alleged neglect of the Medical Officer and enclosed are extracts [not included] from a letter received by the Poor Law Commission from Mr J Jolliffe, late Medical Officer. Jolliffe complains of vote of censure in the case of the wife of George Clark, deceased Requests any observations the Commission of Guardians may wish to make on Mr Jolliffe's case. Paper Number: 3559/A/1846. Poor Law Union Number 76. Counties: Devon and Dorset.
