- Folio 172. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union. The letter reports that Mr Micklethwaite, District Auditor for West Yorkshire, in his audit of the accounts of the Keighley Poor Law Union for the half year ended September 1852, has disallowed two sums from the accounts of Thomas Pearson, Assistant Overseer of the parishes of Steeton and Sutton. The Board requests that they be informed whether the sums have been paid to the treasurer as required by Act 7& 8 Vic c 101 s 32. Paper Number: 41790/1852. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
