- Folios 166-167. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, referring the guardians to the letter sent by Bernard Green and to a copy of the Board's letter to Green in response to his query. They request the clerk inform the guardians of the course of action to be taken. Includes the draft letter from the Board to Green. The Board states that he has a duty to relieve the poor in his district. The cases and relief given to be reported at the next meeting of the guardians. The Board stated that Mr Farnall [Harry Bernard Farnall, Poor Law Inspector] is to attend that meeting on 20 November. Paper Number: 41344/1852. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
